Another season ended for The Vemp on Saturday September 29th, 2012. This was an especially challenging year with all of the Noise issues etc., that came up. The Vemp would like to apologize to all riders for the confusion about if we were still open or not with the challenges that we were faced with. Where it stands to date, the Vemp has had to use the donations towards a retainer to hire a Noise Engineer to finalize a new zoning guided by the city to continue MX practices and races. Along with the permission to continue to practice only, until results were submitted, the City decided to give out noise charges as well. At this time, I have hired a Lawyer to help me with this matter, Therefore the remainder of the donations unfortunately have had to go to a Lawyer rather then towards improving the VEMP's Park.

I am committed to keeping you all posted on this matter & the future of the VEMP.

The Vemp would like to thank everyone so much for helping us out at the "Save The Vemp Campaign" and other events this year. Every effort is greatly appreciated by all. The Vemp would like to thank the following volunteers for their on-going contributions this season, Shane Therrian, Chris Patey, Ron Tessier, Kent Orford and Tracey Houle. Their on-going efforts make it possible for everyone to enjoy The Vemp.

I hope you are all as anxious for the 2013 season as I am. Please keep checking the website for further updates and upcoming events.

Sincerely,

Serge Solomon
